Reimbursement & Claims Policy

Applicable to all APP Insurance cargo and goods coverage

All insurance coverage provides up to 90% reimbursement, provided the goods are delivered in good condition. In the event of damage, the responsible party reserves the right to pursue a claim against the insurance provider for a fixed amount of approximately $38,000.

Reimbursement is calculated on the declared value of goods at the time the policy is issued.

Claims must be lodged within 30 days of the delivery date or the date damage is identified, whichever is earlier.

Supporting documentation — including a bill of lading, packing list, and damage report — is required for all claims.

The fixed claim amount of $38,000 applies where goods sustain damage during transit and liability has been established against the insuring party.
